With reference to his letter no 3578 of the 14th decd last transmits copy of a despatch from the honble the court of directors no 42 of the 24th july last authorizing the remittance for payment to the secy at war of a desposts which was ordered to be credited to private Kelly of the 1st battalion of Hm's 60th rifles transfered to the Bengal presidency.
