With reference to previons correspondence with the cout and to the Resn. passed in the finl. Dept. of f18th march 1848 transmits for information and ans. copy of despatch from the Honble cout in that depts. 4 of 1849 allowing the grant of pension to section Writers permandtly employed under the govt. of Bengal.
