Regarding compensation for certain lands taken for the Benares cantonments.In odedience to the orders contained in letter to the Collector No 115 dated 22nd March 1852 took up the cases of compensation to individuals other than proprictors for lands taken forthe cantonments of Benares and do the honor to report that closed may proceedings and beg to submit a detailed abstract showing all particulars necessary to under stand the matter .
