Estimate Committee -Miscellaneous corresponding regarding recommendations of the contained in the various reports on the Ministry of Rlys. Instructions from Lok Sabha Sectt. Normally once the Committee has presented its report to the Lok Sabha giving their comments on the action taken by the Ministry concerned on their original reports, that may be regarded as the completion of the process of examination in as far as the committee is concerned. It would, therefore be left to the house itself or individual members to press for particular recommendations made by the committee which have not been accepted by the Government, if they so desire. It is therefore not necessary for the Ministry to furnish further comments on the action taken reports presented by the committee unless specially desired by 7th committee in respect of any particular recommendations. If however, in the action taken report presented by the committee, it has been pointed out that replies of certain recommendations in the original report are still outstanding, the Min. should furnish their replies to the outstanding recommendations even after the action taken report has been presented to the Lok Sabha
