With refrence to a letter of the 29july last directing lum to state whether the increase granted to the office Establishment any abatement Consequent on the large reductions, which have been made in the Mily Establishement of this Presidency , submits this report there on and states that the audit office has not yet disposed of the vast accumulation of arrears conected with the army of the sullege but hopes, now that the arrers will be cleard off on a very short time.
