With refrence to mily Department letter no 686 of the 19th Instt, states that, the detachmements, of Irregular, cavalry, for which transport to Rangoon, is required will consist of about 200 Horses 200 Talloos and 400 emn including followers, that for the number of men and cattle at least 2transports, and 2 steamers, will eb required, that the sah allum will accommadate, 80 Horses, 80 Tattoos and 160 men that the ship Havering is calculated to take a like number of men and Horses as the shah allum and that the 2 steamer Mozuffirand fenasserim which he recommneds should tow the Havering and shah allumcan take the remaining 40 Horses 40 Tattoos and 80 men.
