Transmits copy of letter from the Brigadier General Commissioner the Dinapore Division, from which it will be seen that a Company's of Her Majesty's 80th Regiment has been Kept since December 1849 for the protection of Darjeeling; & states that if a Company's of that Regiment is to be restrained there, its periodical relief with a view to Discipline is very desirable.
