with reference to Mily. department letter no. 543 of the 23rd april states that the sums amounting in the aggreegate to Rs 255-4-11 were recived fro the despatch fo Rs 1142-14-4 stated to be on account of the estates & effet of desrter & men discharge the services a paricluriozed in his statment of 4th august 1848.
