In reply to a lr. of the 8th jan. last calling for a report on the feasibility of reducing the number of hores in troops of Horse Arty and Light field Battenies on the frontier to the Estabt. formerly allowed observe that the reciept of leter of the 19th ult. conveying orders on the subject containsed in the lr. under acknowledement has rendered any further Report form them unncesssary.
