With reference toa letter of the 19th July last reports that on enquiry it appears that the 9th Native Infantry hasbeen permitted temporarily to occupy certain condermned additional barracks to which old Jhampswere attache to and that they were nt entitled to new ones for the Barracks so occupied that the 38th Jhamps ordered were those obsolutely necessary for the presentation of the arms.
