With reference to a letter of the 31st May last submits for orders copy of one from the officers commanding the 2nd Regiment European Bengal fusileirs stating that the Breast plates in use with that Regiment were made uup in 1840 and are in serviciable conditin that be applied for new plates in consequence of the corps .
