In reply his despatch no. 476 of the 20th may 1851 sanctioning the preparation of 1046 new Breast platres for the 72tn N I at a cost of 12 annexes each the expense to be decreased by thge proceds arising from the sale of 930 breast plates now in use with the regiment whereley a shown in the margin within the total lost to the state within not xeceed 14648-4-10.
