In reply to this Office Letter NO. 5538 dated 21st Ultimo, states the Governor General in Council agrees with there would be no objection to the payment at Buxa of the annual allowance paid to the Bhootan Government of an Officer of the rank indicated in the Treaty were to assume the post of Agent at Buxa.
