Food allowance to the Deb Rajah`s agent. In reply to this office letter No. 209, dated 17th January last, and enclosures, relative to the allowance to the Bhootan agent at Buxa, states, that the view of the case taken by the Lieutenant-Governor of Bengal is a correct one.
