Informing the commandier in chif with reference to g.o. no.225 of this date that grandation list of colonels of the bengal army as they stand for promotion to the rank of major genl by Hm's brevets have been sent to madras and bombay with a request that similar list of their respective armises be furnished to the govt of India which when recived will be forwared for preparation of a memo of promotion and adjut of rank in the bengal army.
