With reference to an extract of the 15th of March last , transmits for informtion and further orders copy of a despatch from the Court of Directors sanctioning pension to certain loorrmen and artificers attached to the arsenal of fort William and requests that measures may be takn for fixing a limit of age beyond which no person shall be engaged in the Public service as a workman or artificer as suggested by the Court.
