Supply to the India officve of information as to the officialy accepted figures of the areas and population of British India under twelve heads. viz.,each governor's provinces and other area, calculated areas and population of the provinces of Madras, C.P. and Orissa after allowing for transfer ofterritotires from Madras and the C.P. to Orissas under the new constitution.

The National Archives of India is on a mission to digitize and make available online each and every record in its repositories. This is an ongoing effort and some records will be made available before the others.
