In continuation of my letter, No. 1955, of the 21st instant. I am directed by the Lieutenant Governor to forward to you a copy of a further communication, dated the 20th idem, from Messrs. Gordon Stuart and Company, Secretaries to the Bengal Coal Company, and to request that you will take into consideration the suggestions contained in it, for equalizing the burden of providing carriage for Troops moving up the Grand Trunk Road, and endeavour if possible to remedy the evils complained of.
