To Officiating Director General - In reply to the foregoing states that the Report submitted of the working of the Bullock Train in Bengal during the year 1854/55 is considered satisfactory and the G. G. in C. authoriges the payment to the Deputy Post Master General at Calcutta of Rs. 100 per month out of the receipts from 1st May 1855 the proporiety of continaning the remancration will be considered on the Report of each year with regard to the complaint of the Pubic that the General Traffic of the Grand Trunk Road is impeded by long strings of Bullock train waggons ocoupying the metalhed portion of the Road directs the Strict emprcement of the rules in existence buy which the Trains are forbidden to keep the middle Road when passing carriages.
