Rejection of a proposal made by the Govt. of Bengal that section 37 of the Sea Customs Act, 1878 (VIII of 1878) should be amended on the lines of section 9 of the English Finance Act, 1900, so as to render duty chargeable on goods delivered from a Customs warehouse at the rates in force on the date of their actual removal.
