Regulation to amend the law relating to the Punishment of whipping Stating that as the draft cochin which the Barbar Propose to introduce follows closely the lines of the Bill now under th consideration of the Govt. of india to amend the whipping Act 1864 the Govt. consider it advisable that the darbar should wait and see what form the Bill takes in British India when it becmoes law before altering the existing law in cochin on the subject.
