Letter from Mr. William Tierney, Agent for the supplies of treasure consigned to Sir Eyre Coote, to Mr. William Bruce, Acting Secretary, enclosing an account of the coinage produced in the Mint of Fort St. George, and certain other papers relative to the treasure consigned to Sir Eyre Coote, reporting the amount he borrowed at interest, and suggesting that his commission of 1 per cent, on the sums issued to the Madras forces is not unreasonable.
