Extract from a letter dated Fort St.George the 28th April from the Select Committee at Fort St.George intimating that they will receive recruits for lthe Bengal establishment from the King regiments and that they will send the Artillery land Lascars left by Col.Pearse detachment by the first available vessel and asking to be supplied with funds to meet their demands.
