His Secretary's No. 5339, dated 3rd December, regarding vaccination in the Central Provinces, having been referred to the officiating Principal Inspector General, Medical Department, for opinion sends copy of his reply and states that the Governor General in Council fully concurs with the officiating Principal Inspector General in thinking for reasons specified that the pay of the vaccinators should not exceed that of the North Western Provinces, and sanctions the appointment of the Superintendents. and C., after the scale allowed at Agra. Requests the stringent adoption of check registers, and that he will report direct to the Financial Department what additional Budget provision may be necessary in consequence of the modified arrangements now sanctioned
