G.I.P. Rly. Allowance to officers and subordinate etc. on surveys and construction works both temporary and Permanent. (2) Decision that when jeeps, station Wagons and Trucks are provided by the Govt. for use of officers and staff employed on construction and survey projects, the following procedure should be adopted. (a)Officers and staff governed by the Ex.Co. Rules. A deduction should be made at the rate of 4 pies per mile from staff for use of jeeps and 6 pies per mile from officers and 4 pies mile from staffs for use of station wagons and Trunks. (b)Officers and staff governed by State Railway Rules. They are entitled to any traveling allowances apart from daily allowance if due otherwise vide Rule 231(2)-RI
