Proposal by the Eastern Railway that a proportion of Mechanical Engineers should also be delegated to the Stores Deptt. as in the case of Civil Engineers-Position examined and as provision in the Recruitment Rules has already been made from 1953 onwards that candidates qualified for Mechanical Engineering Deptt. would be liable to work in the Stores Deptt. also., -matter not pursued
