Question whether the condition of the employee belonging to the linguistic group be insisted upon in case of inmates in subsidized hostels admitted to technical schools/colleges: DDE(L)'s proposal regarding - Instructions issued that: i) in susidized hostels where the number of seats provided is fully occupied, preference in admission should be given to students up to the Higher Secondary standard; ii) students of other than the particular linguistic group may be admitted on payment of full charges if the capacity permits; and iii) students who are in receipts permits; and education from SBF should not be subsidized
