Central Railway clarified that the leave account from before the date of the medical authoritys report should also be taken into consideration for proposals to grant six months of leave under sub-rule 1(b) of Rule 2237 (S.R.233)R-II. This is after the report from the medical authority has been received. Stated differently, the six-month leave period stipulated by this sub-rule should begin on the date of the employees last absence from work prior to receiving the report from the medical authority, and the total amount of leave deducted from the leave account, including any additional time spent on duty after the date of the report, should not surpass six months
