Fixation of seniority for non-gazetted staff in non-selection positions - those who are unable to take the suitability test. Decision:- If an employee is unable to appear at a selection or suitability test due to tuberculosis or deprosy, he should be allowed to appear at another selection or test within one month of his return to duty, as long as he returns to duty within one year of the original selection or suitability test. If he is judged suitable in the selection or test, he should be granted the position he would have received if he had taken the initial selection or suitability exam.
