Railway Western Payment of daily and overtime benefits to employees covered by the Factories Act who operate outside of the factory boundaries-Railways are instructed to --- Paragraph 460(5)-W, which states that labourers dispatched from shops with engines and vehicles on trial journeys must be compensated for the real hours performed beyond shop hours, should be interpreted as indicative rather than exhaustive. Any employees dispatched from the workshop to work on engines or vehicles during test drives, as well as other employees sent to work on duty to take care of cash safes and other things. When this occurs, work completed after regular shop hours should be eligible for overtime pay at the single rate
