Application of factories Act, to stores Department on Railway. Decree that the Act would not apply to all employees of a Department and that the Factories only apply to those who are employed in any manufacturing process, the subject of a manufacturing process, or in any other type of work incidental to or connected with the manufacturing process. Therefore, segregating non-manufacturing activity was not truly necessary for the Department's registration. The aforementioned legal position for handling such cases was communicated to the railway
