Signal Engineering Department: Review of requirements of officers during the IV Five Year Plan.- Decision that (1) the direct recruitment quota should be raised to 20 per annum for the next Five years and the absorption quota for the Temporary Asstt. Signal and Telecommunication Engineers from 6 to 10; (2) the ratio of 2: 1 should be adopted for distributing the permanent posts of Assistant Officers in the Department into Junior scale and Class II; and (3) 20 Temporary Asstt. Signal and Telecommunication Engineers should be recruited each year for the next three year so that they become available by 1969
