Rules-Interchange-Hire. Questions regarding the lease fees for cars and waggons that are irreparably damaged in the other nation are raised in the Fundamental and Supplementary Rules for Interchange of Traffic between India and Pakistan. (2) The exchange of lists of waggons from one nation in the other, as required by Rule 27, Section III, Annexure II to the F and S Rules, between D.W.I. (India) and D.W.C. (Pakistan). Important things to think about. (1) The governments of Pakistan and India concurred that invoices for hire costs on inventory should be prepared using the interchange in Attari, the recognised location for numerical interchange. (2) The following resolutions were made by the Indo-Pakistan Railway Standing Committee during its meeting in New Delhi in December 1954: (a) Hire on irreparably damaged waggons will end as soon as D.W.I. (India) or D.W.C. (Pakistan), as applicable, receives notice of the damage. This ruling is relevant to all earlier and unresolved cases. (b) Any waggon that is not counted in the census but is discovered to have been taken over at an interchange junction as indicated in interchange records or to have been counted on any Railway in the previous census is assumed to still be on that Railway. (c) (India) and D.W.C. (Pakistan) will exchange lists of waggons belonging to the railroads in the other country as of the last day of the preceding month by the twentieth of each month
