Rules-Interchange-Hire. Fundamental and Subsidiary Rules for interchange of traffic between India and Pakistan-Question regard hire charges on vehicles and wagons irreparably damaged in the other country. (2) Exchange of lists between D.W.I. (India) and D.W.C. (Pakistan) of wagons of one country in the other in terms of Rule 27, Section III, Annexure II to F and S. Rules. Important considerations. (1) The Governments of India and Pakistan agreed that bills on account of hire charges on stock should be prepared on the basis of the inter-change at Attari, the accepted point of numerical interchanged. (2) The Indo-Pakistan Railway standing Committee at the meeting held at New Delhi in Dec. 54 took the following decisions:- (a) hire on wagons irreparably damaged will cease from the date the damage is notified by D.W.I. (India) or D.W.C.(Pakistan), as the case may be. This decision is applicable to all past and unsettled cases. (b) Any wagon not enumerated in the census but found to have been taken over at interchange junction as shown in interchange records or have been enumerated on any Railway in the previous census shall be considered to be still on the Railway which has taken it over or enumerated in the preceding census. (c) (India) and D.W.C. (Pakistan) shall exchange, by the 20th of each month, lists of wagons belonging to the railways in the other country as on the last day of the previous month
