States that, in the Budget for 1863-64, no provision was made for a second Settlement Officer; and, as the appointment of Captain Jenkins was not in contemplation when the Budget was drawn out, applies for a further grant of Rupees 2239, which is the whole of that officer's pay; this would leave a balance of Rupees 2140 to enable the Agent to meet any future contingencies
