Proposal to write off the loss amounting to Rs. 44, 107/14/9/-during 1943-44 caused due to the Consessional supply of food stuffs to the Establishment and labour employed on the non-aviation works in Eastern India. Decision: As the amount of loss had already been debited to the appropriate account head of the pre-partition period, the present Government was not competent to write off the loss-the matter was dropped
