With reference to Mily. department despatch no. 696 of 19th april 1850 submits fir consideration copies of a statment of the proposed classicfication of the clerks belonging to teh office madras army at a cost not exciding its present aggreegate of allowances of a letter from that officers expresses the recommend of that Govt. that it may be sanctioned .
