Transmits Extract letter from the Commissioner and Superintendent of the Trans Sutlej states, & States that the Chief Commissioner Concurs with that officer in thintring that the Registers of Native Recruits for the Bengal Army, prescribed by G.O. No. 486 of the 6th August 1852, should be forwarded by Commanding officers of Regiment Direct to District officer for verification, instead of Through the Offices of CommissIIoners of Divisions as at present.
