The most noble the Governor General of India in Council is pleased so far to modify the 5th paragraph of Govt. General order No. 486 of the 6th August 1852 laying in the North Western Provinces & in the Punjanb as to direct that the Return therein referred to shall be sent by Commanding officers direct to Destrict officers instead of through the Commissioners.
