Submitted to Goverment his letter no. 473 of this date stating the there are number of officers proceeding on Public duty by the Honble Company's steamer Tenasserim, but One of the Cabins has been let to a private individual the Wife of an officer in Arracan and noting further that the Superintendent of Marine declines with out express orders from Govt., to Cause the Lady to Vacute her Cabin, though, imless it be dene, there will not be room for the officer on duty.
