With reference to Military Deptt. letter no. 293 of the 11st July last, states that an examination of the accompg. Reports from the Officers Commanding Local and Irregulation corps of cavalry & Infantry has led to teh conclasion that it is quite impracticable to fix on a scale of Regimental necessaries for these branches respectively.
