To Secretary - Acknowledges the foregoing - This Government agrees with the Lieut. Governor that Mr. Samuells satisfactorily shows that his animadursiary on the proceedings of Mr. Tayloe were not grounds less and are fully borne out by the records of the calls referred to. This Government in however of opinion that it would be were statisfactory to Mr. Taylor that the papers of the trials including Mr. Taylers & Mr. Samuells remarks upon them should be reported upon by the Judges of the Sudder Court before this Government decides finally upon the Course of action to the # taken an regard to Mr. tayler But Mr. Taylor has been since placed out of Employ in grounds unconnected into the charges referred to un the papers and has moreover officially # his intention sholly to submit his resignation of the service.
