To Secretary - Acknowledges his letters as noted regarding the disaffective shown by some of the English Troops of His Majestys Inadian Army Stationed at Allahabad - Those reports will be communicated to the Secretary of State for India by the Mail which leaves this temorroue- The measures taken by the Magistrate for protecting the City and Station appears Judicious. Adverting to the 15th Para of his letter of the 11th Instant States that it was left discretionary with the Lieut. Governor in conjuction with the Military Authorities to act for the public safety etc.
