To Secretary to the Chief Commissioner of Oudh - With reference to the foregoing - States that as regards members of the covenanted Civil Service who were in Lucknow throught the Seize & as far as the Government of India is concerned the members of the convenanted Service will be allowed to retire from the Service on Annuities one year sooner than they would otherwise be entitled to do - and in regard to the Uncovenanted Civil Servants who formed a portion of the Lucknow Garrison the Government will accord to them unconditionally the privilege of # one years additional service on retirement.
