From Clerk - By the Desire of the standing orders Committee of the Legislative Council requests sanction to the following arrangements connected with the office of Official Reporter to the Council 1st Mr. D. Suterland, to draw the half undrawn salary (Rs. 150 per month) of that office, in addition to the salary of his substantive appointment during the period ( From 1st April to 30th June last) he officiated for Mr. F. Garneh whilst the latter was absent on Sick Leave. 2nd - Mr. sutherland to continue to Officiate as Reporter on an additional salary of Rs. 200 per month from 1st July last, until the appointment a permanent Reporter. 3rd - The distribution of Rs. 100 paid to a candidet for the Official Reportership, for his services whole on trail.
