With reference to this Office No. 1757, dated the 21st ultimo, forwards copy of a letter to the Superintendent of Port Blair, and of the correspondence connected therewith, regarding the deputation of Mr. Kurz, the Curator of the Herbarium of the Botanical Gardens, Calcutta to the Andamans, for the purpose of preparing a complete collection of the plants of those Islands.
