To Clerk - Transmits to him in order that the state of the Law regarding Bribery may be brought under the cons. of the Legislative Council a copy of the correspondence with the Government of Bombay and of an Extract from a Despatch from the Honble Court no. 30 of 1857 dated 11th February relatvie to the case of sadah Kecer a Patel in the Mahee Kanta who entered into a corrnpt arrangement with two persons in Bombay one of whom was a Clerk in the Potitical Department for the pupose of obtainng redress from the British Govenment against the acts of his own Government.
