From Assistant Secretary - In reply to letter No. 837 dated 21st May last requesting information as to the dated of the demise at Cunpore of Major Prout 56 N. I. and of his wife forwards copies of documents shuing that the date of the death of Mr. Lacy prout could be ascertained only from Lieut Thomson who has proceeded to England and the Honble Court may obtain the information from him.
