To Coptain C.B. Campbell - Commanding H.C.S. Friyate Semiramis - Informing him that on the 23 February the Ceylon Government was requested to direct the Commander of the `Sydney` to proceed to Moulmein if that Vessel was not required to bring of Troops from Galle - A Telegraphic Message was this day sent to Ceylon requesting that the Sydney be sent here direct as a Regiment of Native Infantry was to be conveyed to China If the Telegram be not in time to prevent her from going to Moulmene but should be reach that port before aerival of the `Sydney` he is requested to take the Tabal Cain in tow of the `Semeramis` and bring her to Calcutta.
