To Secretary - With reference to previns correspondence forward a dispatch from the Honble Court No. 16 of 1854 showing that the arrangements proposed by the late Lieut. Governor for the preventure of the # of samll pox should be introduced but the Government of India apprehand that the system cannot be undetaken until the medical esablishment in augmented calls for a statement of the No. of # Medical Officers, it was proposed to employ to suerintend native vaccination together with the Lieut. Governor opinion on the subject.
